Church Farm

I had lost my gold CTR ring yesterday while V.T. at a ladies house that lives on the Church Fruit Farm. I looked all over in the dirt where I lost it, and it was no where to be found. So, I made a little pile of rocks so that I could come back later to search longer for it. I loaded up the kids tonight & headed to the spot, we looked and couldn't find it. I decided maybe we should do the peach picking and then look one more time before heading back home. While we were picking one of the Bair boys (his parents live on the farm) & I were talking and I happened to mention to him that I lost my ring. He told me that his brother had a metal detector & that he would go look for it. So about 10 min. later here he comes up to the row with my ring in his hand. I was so excited & happy! This ring has been lost at least 4 times. The last time I lost it for a good year, I found it in my big turkey cooker. Sooo... here we are picking peaches at the farm tonight! And we all learned a lesson about serving at the church farm. :0)

School is here...already?

Aug. 20th was the first day of School. This was the girls getting off the bus. I had a really quiet day. I think next year will be so hard for me, Brik will go to kindergarden. He's my boy I'll miss him so much, I better enjoy this year!

Hadlock Campout

This year we went to Dead Wood Resevoir. It was a great spot! We had lots of fun!

My Mom is such a good Grandma! I got to relax so much because she would take Berkley & play with her. In this pic she was tipping the girls (Berkley & Lily) up & down, they loved it! Berkley, she had a great time swimming at the Lake!

I can't be 34!

But I quess I am! My really good friends Holle, Maurine & Melody took me out to dinner to Brik 29 Bistro. It was soo good then we went and saw Mamma Mia! It was great! Sunday night we actually celebrated my b-day, Shane got me a 1 1/2 hr. Massage and a gift card to American Eagle. Holle made me a b-day cake Sunday night and put #17 on it. I didn't get it until she played this song from Momma Mia! Thanks for the great Birthday everyone!

The good ole' days!

These are some of my very best friends....We all went to East Canyon Elementary, then moved on together to Vallivue Jr. High School & all graduated together from Vallivue High School. Misty Nielsen (Fewkes), Hilarie Tuft (Roberts), Me, and Carrie Chance (Collins) We all brought our kids to my Mom's pool and let the kids swim while we caught up on our lives! We talked about old times and laughed a lot! It was so much fun! I sure do miss some of the crazy things we did back in the day! Thanks for the fun day! I love you guys!

So I had the kids cleaning up a little in the excercise room & the girls organized all our boots in this line! I think this is all of them minus Shane's 3 good pair in the closet! Yikes, I guess Berkley is set for Cowboy boots!
