Church Harvest Party....

We had a great time at the Church Harvest Party, I couldn't find any overalls for Old McDonald, but the rest of us were in full cotume! I'm pretty sure he wasn't going to wear them anyways! Mackenzie the Lamb, Mallory the Marshmellow, & Justin the 70's dude!

Ruth Davis. She is the oldest lady in our ward, and was really good friends with my Grandma Weber. We have bonded pretty good. I told her she had to dress up, so with my Mom's help we got this costume for her. She won the GRAND PRIZE! What a great woman!!

Halloween Cookies!

Berkley, Brik & I made Halloween Sugar Cookies today! Brik loved pressing the cutters into the dough!

He wasn't so sure about using the rolling pin.

All done.........thank goodness I remebered to cut this recipe in 1/2. Last time I was frosting cookies for forever! And we still got 24 cookies out of this batch!

Pumpkin Carving Fun!!

Family Home Evening carving pumpkins, always a fun time! Oakley is being crazy! Shane had to help, I wasn't about to do 5 pumpkins!

I'm so Excited......

actually, I'm so tired! But I am all done with the Quilt! Hopefully Shane won't be checking our blog in the next week. Shane went hunting today so I figured I better bust out the quilt frames & get to work. It is now 12:54 am and I am all done! It feels so good not to have to think about that now! YIPEE!! I'll post more of it when he opens it on his B-day! I think for now I'm going to BED!

A lunch Reunion....

I worked for a Dr. in Boise about 10 years ago. I made some good friends & made even better memories working with them. We got together for lunch & had such a great time laughing & talking about some HiLarIOus times! Thanks for a fun time everyone!

tHe RaCe Is On !!

Shane's birthday is only 3 weeks away & he's been asking for a huge denim quilt for quite a while so I thought I'd try to pull it off. We'll see, I told him he might have to wait until Christmas for that gift. All I know is I've been storing a ton of old jeans in my exercise room for a good year now. It will be nice to see them gone. So I wanted the girls to be involved in helping and this is how are night went! Shane was in & out all day so Bailey made this great sign for the door! Since the girls couldn't do much I told them they could have all the scraps. Boy did they LOVE that idea. Bailey started to use my sewing maching while I was out ironing......UH I don't think so Bailey!!
Brik even was in on the action. I got my fabric glue out and he thought he'd glue a rag to the back of some denim & make a ghost.....yikes!

After 74 big squares & 88 little squares all sewn into 4 piece blocks, (and by the way they all matched up sooo good, i was impressed with my skills) I was ready to call it quits for tonight. But here's all the fun stuff the kids came up with! We had a great time! It reminded me of when my Mom used to let us "craft" with her scrap material & even the pattern scraps. We thought we were pretty good seamstresses. Those were some fun times!

Two new BaBy GiRLs!!!

Shane's brother Travis & Mindy had their first GIRL, after 4 Boys..Yippee!! Jersey Marie Royce. I am so excited that they get to experience a Baby Girl, I still can't believe it was a girl! Was a Sweetie!

My brother Ryan & wife DeAnna just had their 4th Girl! Shelby Layne Hadlock. I think she looks alot like my brother! She is such cutie! Can't wait to see her!
